The Lasbury Tracy Team
I have lived in Englewood on and off since 1960 and my family has owned property in this area for over 100 years. I am proud to be a fourth generation real estate agent and the current owner of the oldest real estate firm in Englewood, established in 1951. I spent 25 years in the foodservice business as a Regional Sales Manager and have applied those skills towards making your real estate transactions as professional and stress free as possible. Our company is 100% dedicated to our client's satisfaction rather than the needs of shareholders or corporate policies. I invite you to experience the difference local knowledge and family values can make in your next real estate transaction.

I came from a real estate working family. My grandmother and grandfather were both in the real estate business, as well as my mother and father. As a teenager, I worked during the summers for my grandparents and knew that this was what I wanted to do when I was done with my schooling. I started my real estate career in 1981, moving from New Jersey and St. Thomas, Virgin Islands with my five children and my husband in 1970. I am well known in the Englewood area for my honesty and hard work. I am dedicated to offering professional service to all my clients. A high percentage of my business comes from past clients and referrals. Every one of my clients is unique and that is exactly how I treat them. Choosing a real estate agent who has the tools, skills and experience to make your dreams come true can be challenging as the home buying process itself. Let me make it simple for you.
My real estate career began at the age of 16 collecting monthly rent for 28 properties owned by my parents. Over the years I have created, maintained and sold real estate as a residential and commercial builder. Being a Florida Certified Building Contractor and Home Inspector gives me added insight when evaluating properties for my clients. I am a REALTOR® and a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute program. Being a 5th generation Floridian, I enjoy reading about Florida architecture, history and real estate. After living in different regions of the country and Florida, I find Englewood and the surrounding communities a great place to live!

Robert Skidmore spent the early years of his life growing up in Englewood and the surrounding area. He and his family have lived in Englewood for over 30 years and have seen the area grow while still retaining its charm and character. Robert was educated in the local school system and after high school decided to attend college in Virginia (Hampden-Sydney College) earning a B.A. in Managerial Economics and attended Auburn University (Alabama) while working on his Masters in the same field. After his years away in college Robert returned to his hometown of Englewood and began a successful career in local government. His time in local government allows him to specilize in areas of land-use, zoning and homebuyers rights. Robert has worked in Englewood his entire career, serving as the Membership Director of the Englewood Cape Haze Area Chamber of Commerce before embarking on a career in real estate. After working at a national real estate brand, Robert decided to join the Lasbury Tracy Family. As Englewood's oldest and most established real estate firm, Lasbury Tracy works comfortably with buyers and sellers in a variety of home ownership situations.
